Just like a car MOT, it’s a practical, affordable check to ensure your documents still meet current legal standards and reflect your wishes. Most clients use it every three to five years, or after any major life event — marriage, divorce, new children, moving home, or a significant financial change.

We’ll check your Will to confirm that:

• Executors and beneficiaries are still the right people for your wishes.
• Property ownership and family changes are correctly covered.
• The Will complies with current inheritance-tax rules.
• All originals are properly signed, witnessed, and easy to locate.

We’ll check your LPAs to confirm that:

• All named attorneys remain suitable, available, and UK-resident.
• Replacement attorneys are correctly appointed.
• Preferences and instructions still reflect your current views.
• Your documents are registered with the Office of the Public Guardian (OPG) and accessible when needed.

You’ll then receive a short written report showing whether everything passes, needs advisories, or should be replaced.
