Enhanced Personal Options

A curated bundle of our most-requested additions—adding convenience, additional documentation, and personal support where clients want it.

Your core Will, Trust, or LPA service already includes everything required for a complete, bespoke, legally robust result tailored to you.

Enhanced Personal Options go above and beyond — offering additional documentation, practical convenience, and personal support where it genuinely adds value.

How pricing works

Each option is individually priced so you only pay for what you choose.

All costs are fixed, transparent, and can be added at any stage.

Most clients find their core service provides everything they need; these options simply extend flexibility or comfort where useful.

Applies to all services

1. In-home or our office witnessing visit — £100

Home or our office attendance within 30 miles of our Rugby or Welford offices.

Includes one professional witness (a second available at 50 % discount).

One visit — either introductory or for signing — is free within this distance.

Mileage beyond 30 miles is charged at £2 per mile from CV23 0UQ or NN6 6HN and quoted in advance.

(Offered at our discretion where practical and appropriate.)

2. Priority drafting and scheduling — £75

Prioritises your documents for the next available drafting slot and offers earlier or out-of-hours appointments where possible.

Ideal for clients managing travel, health or hospital appointments, urgent family circumstances, or upcoming property transactions.

3. Express (FastTrack) service — £75

Adds a priority scheduling layer to accelerate your usual timetable without compromising quality.

Aims to produce drafts within three working days of full instruction (subject to all information provided).

Typical reasons for choosing this option include travel, hospital admission, separation, relocation, or limited family availability for signing.

4. Additional printed copies — £35 per document

Quality printed originals for storage, watermarked copies for executors or attorneys, and electronic PDF versions for secure backup.

(One printed, watermarked copy of your Will or Letter of Wishes for secure storage or sharing — electronic versions already included in all packages.)

5. Personal guidance calls — £25 each (full session)

Quick five-minute introductory calls are always free of charge.

Full guidance calls provide individual support for executors, attorneys, witnesses, beneficiaries or certificate-providers who want detailed help understanding their role.

Includes written follow-up with links to relevant articles for ongoing reference.

Wills and Protection Packages

6. Letter of Wishes — £50

Adds personal guidance for executors or trustees in your own words.

Private, easy to update, supplied in Word + PDF format with printed copies.

Often used to explain decisions, values, or care preferences.

7. Dynamic Commentary & Visual Will Summary — £15

Plain-English companion copy with a simple flow chart showing how your Will operates in practice — ideal for family discussion or record-keeping.

Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)

8. Self-certified copies — £35 each

For many years the Office of the Public Guardian has issued only one original LPA document.

If that copy is lost or damaged, it can become unusable until re-issued.

Self-certified copies ensure safe spares for attorneys and family use.

9. Capacity record at signing — £100

Independent record confirming understanding and consent under the Mental Capacity Act 2005.

If a more detailed assessment by a registered nurse is needed, we can introduce a trusted advisor whose own fees will apply.

10. Online activation walk-through — £25

Adds a guided online session for donors and attorneys to activate the LPA securely when required.

Written and video instructions are already included in our core service; this adds real-time personal support.

11. Enduring / Lasting Power of Attorney OPG Search and Deed of Revocation — £35 each (person)

Checks for existing Powers of Attorney and prepares Deeds of Revocation to cancel them, ensuring your arrangements remain current before new registration.

Trusts and Property Matters

12. Land Registry services — £100 per application

Support with official Land Registry updates linked to Trust or property arrangements, including:

• Title Deed copy and search (£15)

• Mutual Severance of Joint Tenancy (e.g. 50:50 / 70:30) — £100

• Unilateral Severance — £150

• Register Death of Joint Proprietor — £100Severance of Joint Tenancy explained — many couples or co-owners hold property as joint tenants, meaning the survivor automatically inherits the other’s share.

Converting this to tenants in common ensures each person controls where their share passes under their own Will.

This is a key first step when setting up Property Protection or Life Interest Trusts.

(All Fern Wills & LPAs Trust packages already include any necessary Land Registry updates at no additional cost; fees apply only for stand-alone requests.)
