Professional Partner Programme

Last verified: 24 October 2025 (England & Wales)

Working Together to Support Our Clients

Most professional advisers, consultants, and service providers conduct a detailed fact-find or needs analysis for each client and sometimes uncover issues beyond their own expertise. Fern Wills & LPAs follows the same principle. When a client would clearly benefit from another specialist’s input, we prefer to introduce them to a trusted professional partner so they remain in qualified hands.

Introductions to partners are always based on what is most suitable for the client. Decisions about who to involve are guided by professional competence, shared values, and confidence in the partner’s service standards.

Purpose of the Programme

The Professional Partner Programme is designed to build lasting working relationships between Fern Wills & LPAs and other trusted professionals. Its purpose is to ensure that every client introduced between us receives clear, consistent, and well-coordinated support.

Partners include financial advisers, mortgage brokers, accountants, HR consultants, estate agents, care advisers, insurance brokers, independent assessors, celebrants, and other specialists who share our values of integrity, clarity, and client-first care.

How Partnership Works

  1. Shared standards — all partners operate to the highest ethical standards, placing client interests first at all times, and have insured professional practice with defined client-care duties.
  2. Introductions handled professionally — each introduction is made with the client’s understanding and consent, with data protection observed at every stage.
  3. Ongoing communication — we confirm receipt, keep you informed where appropriate, and coordinate only within agreed boundaries.
  4. Client confidence respected — when you introduce a client to us, we recognise that you are entrusting us with your professional reputation as well as your client’s confidence. We always act with that responsibility in mind.
  5. Tracking and reciprocity — we track the source of every client. Subject to what is in each client’s best interests, any reciprocal work arising from that client — or from people they in turn introduce, up to three levels — will be recorded as introduced by our professional partner.
  6. No obligation to reciprocate — although introductions are always welcome, there is never an expectation or obligation for partners to return them. We value the opportunity to introduce our own clients to trusted professionals where it genuinely serves their needs.

What Partners Gain

  • A safe pair of hands — introductions are handled by an estate planner you can trust with your reputation and your clients.
  • Specialist estate-planning support — direct access to an experienced adviser for Wills, Trusts, and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
  • Professional reassurance — all work is fully insured, legally compliant, and carried out with care and accountability.
  • Added service value — introducing clients to an estate planner who understands your industry and your clients’ needs helps them remain within your professional circle, rather than seeking advice independently from will writers who may have ties to competitors offering similar services.
  • Client-care continuity — your clients receive advice that complements your own recommendations, reinforcing confidence in the quality and consistency of your service.
  • Practical collaboration — short briefings, joint meetings, and educational sessions can be arranged to help staff or clients understand key estate-planning topics.

What Clients Gain

  • Joined-up support — clear, consistent advice across financial, legal, and personal planning.
  • Reassurance of quality — every introduction is made with care and integrity. You can trust us with your clients and your reputation, both of which will be enhanced through our collaboration.
  • Time and stress saved — coordinated handling reduces duplication and confusion.
  • Transparency and simplicity — clients know who is involved and that their advisers are working together in their best interests.
